• For Food: When packing for carry-on, keep in mind that there’s a possibility they’ll bring meals on board. To be scanned, passengers should place their food in a clear plastic bag separate from their luggage and in a distinct tray.
• For Personal Items: To avoid contamination, the TSA recommends that all personal belongings (keys, phones, wallets, etc.) be placed in carry-on bags rather than directly in the bins.
